What does it cost to apply?


No application fees of any kind are charged by Edison Venture Fund. At the time of investment, as customary, our legal expenses and some due diligence costs are reimbursed.

Why doesn't Edison make loans?


Edison offers entrepreneurs risk capital for an equity share in the value created by the company. We usually purchase preferred stock convertible into common stock.

How long is the process to receive funding?


Generally, due diligence takes one to two months. The process can be accelerated when the business plan information is comprehensive, when Edison already has considerable industry knowledge or when necessary to meet the business objectives.

What is the dollar range of funding provided by Edison?
