Edison values our limited partners and regularly communicates, both formally and informally. The Limited Partners hear from us monthly and receive quarterly comprehensive reports.
Edison provides opportunities for limited partners to co-invest and often refer candidates. We proactively introduce limited partners and portfolio companies when mutual business opportunities arise.
The General Partner receives guidance from the Advisory and Valuation Committees. The members represent the Limited Partners and bring considerable private equity experience. The Advisory Committee reviews our investment strategy, staffing, portfolio progress and exit plans. The Valuation Committee sets guidelines, reviews annual fair market value and resolves any conflicts of interest.
Edison conducts worthwhile Annual Meetings and Advisory Committee Meetings. Every year we also visit Limited Partners to meet private equity teams and gather feedback.
Edison also conducts many events for our portfolio companies and staff. Limited Partners are welcome to attend. Management share best practices in financial technology, pharma business solutions, interactive marketing, communications and other Edison industry specialties. Similarly, CEO, VP Sales, CTO and CFOs separately meet. We also hold Edison staff social events such as family weekends, entertainment / dinner with spouses and friendly competitions.
